Wolfe, the Adventurer, gets his passport
Wolfe will be one of the youngest International travelers! When Wolfe was two weeks old he applied for his passport. Taking the passport photo was particularly challenging since Wolfe really didn't like getting his mug shot taken, especially not while laying on a piece of white cardbord, the white sheet in his car seat seemed to work better. Mom and Dad are both International travelers and Wolfe is following in their footsteps. Mom has taken a couple sabbaticals, backpacking solo in South America and Southeast Asia and Dad has done several trips in various parts of Europe and spent part of his childhood in Germany.
With a vacation long overdue, the family is off to Spain for fall break. Hopefully all goes well. While you often hearing traveling with small babies is easier than when they get older Wolfe is not the kind of easy low maintenance baby some parents have. While some moms can take their babies everywhere and can sit in Starbucks chatting with their friends while baby sleeps peacefully, for mom Wolfe is like a ticking time bomb when we go out. He feeds/sucks frequently and for long spans so I'm lucky to have an hour of time before he wants back on the breast. I don't think I left the house for the first three or four weeks of his life but he does like motion- being in the car, walks in the Bjorn or Moby and being outside so fingers crossed this will be a good trip!
